His Story
Chamwaza Mubana
He had umbilical cord around his neck during birth and we ended up in NICU for 3 weeks. We were discharged and he got admitted with a high fever at 4 months. The doctor diagnosed him with cerebral palsy with asymptomatic epilepsy.
We have been in OT/PT since then and he also undergoes routine chiropractic treatment to help with the spine. He’s also on seizure medication, but still unable to sit unaided and cannot crawl.
