Buying a Chamber Should Feel Safe, Simple and Supported

Every Solid O2 MedHBOT installation is planned according to the chamber type and location. Delivery and installation arrangements are confirmed in your quotation, after which the equipment is set up and checked for correct operation.

Operator training covers equipment checks, safe compression and decompression, client preparation, treatment monitoring, emergency procedures, daily operating requirements and responsible client communication.

Support continues after installation through technical assistance, documented procedures, servicing guidance and ongoing operator support. This helps ensure that the chamber forms part of a professionally managed MedHBOT environment rather than being treated as equipment that is simply delivered and left unsupported.

Solid O2 offers different pressure configurations according to the chamber type and intended operating environment.

Professional fabric MedHBOT chambers commonly operate between approximately 1.3 and 1.5 ATA, while our solid steel solutions can operate at pressures up to approximately 2 ATA, depending on the selected model and configuration.

Pressure is only one part of selecting an appropriate MedHBOT solution. Chamber construction, oxygen delivery, component quality, operator training, client procedures, servicing and the intended application must all be considered.

Higher pressure does not automatically mean a better solution. Solid O2 helps each customer select an appropriate chamber and operating environment according to their requirements.

Solid O2 manufactures and assembles as much of our MedHBOT equipment locally as practical, while also using selected international components and, in some cases, complete imported chamber systems.

The country of manufacture alone does not determine whether a chamber provides a professional MedHBOT solution. Equipment selection, component quality, correct configuration, installation, operator training, documented procedures, scheduled servicing, spare-part availability and ongoing technical support are equally important.

Importing a chamber directly may appear less expensive, but customers can be left without suitable installation, training, maintenance, replacement parts or local technical responsibility when problems arise.

Solid O2 provides South African installation, training, servicing and repair support. Our technical team is also regularly contacted to assess or repair imported chambers that were originally purchased without adequate local support.

When purchasing from Solid O2, customers are investing in a supported MedHBOT environment—not simply importing a chamber and being left to manage it alone.

Most Solid O2 professional fabric MedHBOT solutions fall between R225,000 and R255,000, depending on the chamber shape, specifications and accessories selected.

Entry-level and specialised fabric configurations may range from approximately R200,000 to R285,000, while solid steel MedHBOT solutions generally range from approximately R800,000 to R1.6 million.

A MedHBOT solution includes more than the chamber itself.
